What a great day! Todd's cousin Brandi and boyfriend Jeremy drove to Phoenix last night to help us celebrate Thanksgiving and it was wonderful to have them here. It was so beautiful outside we decided to eat outside this year. A tradition in Todd's family is to have Pecan swirls for Thanksgiving, but we couldn't find them this year so Brandi made them from scratch for us...yum yum! There is usually one dish that doesn't turn out for us, sweet potatoes have been the culprit the last two years, but this year with Amber Schweiger's recipe for Sweet Potatoes everything turned out wonderfully. After dinner Brandi went to work on the dishes...she does good work! I don't remember much after that, because the triptophan started to take affect.
