It was a beautiful day so we thought we would take the kids to the zoo. They were so excited, so of course the first thing we had to do was ride the carousel...twice. After that, we went and saw some animals. The cheetahs and otter were actually up and moving around(we never get to see that). Unfortunately, Katherine slept through the whole event(including our fabulous lunch in front of the zebra habitat). We did have an issue with a couple of bold squirrels - that I still chuckle about when I think of it. One even had the audacity to chase me...scared the bajesus right out of me. We haven't been back since.
